Knoxville, TN - Sam McKenzie defeated Troy Jones for Tennessee House of Representative 15th District seat.

McKenzie holds a B.S. in Physics from Fisk University and an M.S. in Solid State Physics from the University of Memphis.  He has served on various community boards, including on the Knox County Commission.

Sam is married to Knoxville City Council Vice-Mayor, Gwen McKenzie.
