Rev. Jesse & Jacqueline Jones, Jr. Celebrated Their 35th Wedding Anniversary

I have never regretted my decision to marry & spend the rest of my life with this special man who the Lord directed me toward. Jesse pursued me & first won me over by loving & serving the Lord, then becoming my best friend, & ultimately winning my heart with his love for me through thick & thin. Now today, our 35th year of marriage we are still in love & doing life & ministry together. Y'all I still love this man that God gave me all those years ago, my man Jesse L. Jones Jr. Happy Anniversary to us!

Well my man really outdid himself in the romance department by surprising me with a romantic scenic getaway to Whitestone to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Early in our marriage we decided no gifts for anniversaries because our birthdays are so close to our anniversary, but he would "cheat" & slip me a gift anyway each year.

Macedonia Baptist Church Reschedule Pastor Jones' Anniversary

Newport, TN- Rev. Jesse L. Jones Jr. accepted the call to pastor Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Newport, TN, in December 2007 and began to pastor officially in January 2008. The year 2020 marks his 12^th year as pastor. Traditionally each 2^nd Sunday in April marks the official Pastor’s Anniversary celebration, but due to the COVID-19 corona virus pandemic, the church will honor him and his wife Jacqueline Hampton Jones with a celebration at a later time to be announced.
