After 3 days of ballot counting, on Saturday morning, November 7, 2020 Vice-President Joseph Robinette Biden became President-Elect and Senator Kamala Devi Harris became Vice President-Elect of the United States.
We must remember that during the democrat primary, Joe Biden was being written off, until the South Carolina primary, when the endorsement of South Carolina Congressman, James Clyburn turn Biden campaign around.
Biden running on the platform, "The Battle for the Soul of the Nation" and pledging that he would chose a woman as his running. With the list of qualified women growing and on the urging of Congressman Clyburn for him to chose a Black woman. On August 17, 2020, Biden kept his word, announcing his Vice President choice, not only was she a woman, but she was a Black woman, California Senator Kamala Devi Harris.
It was 12 years ago, in 2008 when Barack Obama chose Joe Biden as his running, 12 years later Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris as his running setting the stage for history once again.
