Morristown, Tennessee native, and graduate of East High School, Patricia Yeary, is known to her family, friends, and classmates as “Pat”.  Pat is the daughter of the late Rev. Obie and Inez Yeary.

After high school and some college, Pat left the rolling hills of Tennessee by enlisting into the United States Army.  Her military career sent her to various assignments in the United States, Panama Canal Zone, and Europe.  She entered the military as an administrative assistant and retired as a logistics officer.  She retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Captain.  Pat holds a Master Degree in Management from Webster University.

During the next chapter of her life, she was employed by the state of South Carolina.   During this time, she renewed her interest in acting.  Her initial interest in acting was sparked at Toney’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, whereas a child, under the direction of Delphine Blevins, Pat participated in Christmas plays and Easter programs.  There, she realized that acting was her life’s calling, but did not fully pursue it until later in life.    One of her favorite quotes is “It’s never too late to be what you might have been” (George Eliot).

As a mature adult, while working full time, Pat enrolled in acting classes. She began her acting career by auditioning and getting cast in numerous theater stage plays.  Two of her favorite theater roles were in classics; she portrayed Countess Flora De Lage in “The Women” and Mrs. Walters in “Pillow Talk”.     She has never stopped participating in stage plays.  Pat eventually secured a talent agent which led to acting jobs in film, TV, and commercials.

Pat’s first TV role and one of her favorites were portraying historical figure Eliza Briggs (Briggs v. Elliot) in South Carolina Education ETV’s “ Modjeska Simkins Story”.  Another favorite is the role of Mrs. Apter in “Living the Dream”, a TV series that aired on Sky TV, in the UK.  Her acting credits now include commercials, film, TV, audience interactive, training videos, advertising print work, and still photography modeling.

She is based out of South Carolina but travels extensively for her acting career.  She thanks God for allowing her to live her dream of acting and is grateful to everyone that helped her along the way.   Many of her film credits can be found here:  Pat Yeary - IMDb.   Her talent agency is:
